The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) has announced monthly virtual training sessions on the procurement regulations that govern FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) awards. The training sessions are now a requirement as part of TDEM’s revised Grant Terms and Conditions.
The sessions will cover important topics such as cost principles, methods of procurement, and procurement best practices for each program. Ensuring compliance with these regulations is crucial for all recipients to maximize reimbursements. The sessions will take place on the second Wednesday of every month, from 10 AM to 11 AM (CST), starting on July 12, 2023, and running through December 11, 2024.
